While I still recommend using phpvirtualbox for any user, if you don't have linux command line experience and don't feel comfortable in putty, I would leave the heavy lifting to someone with more linux expertise. Installation is hit or miss and takes at least an hour. Error logging is also easily accessible from the web interface, if there are any to speak of. Also with a few configuration tweaks you can autostart guests when the machine boots, making power loss a non issue. Working from a central interface, you can tweak settings, make new installs, clones, delete instances and even see the console. They took great care to mimic the VirtualBox gui and it pays off in spades. The import/export tool makes redundancy a breeze.Įasiest web interface for any hypervisor. The interface is easy to use and has very few limitations! I can clone, backup, start, stop, reinstall, install with isos, and I can do it all from a web browser. I started using phpVirtualBox months ago, and I'm very happy with the results.
